Coolidge is about 21 miles from us, roughly 35 minutes northeast on SR 287 past the fields between the two towns, then onto SR 87. The town was laid out in 1925 and named for President Calvin Coolidge, and it grew up as cotton country. Its best-known landmark is Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, which in 1892 became the first prehistoric and cultural reserve set aside in the United States. It is also where Casa Grande the city got its name.

Usually a lot of it can. The side that faces the afternoon sun oxidizes faster, so we compound and polish that side harder than the shaded side, then wax both so they match as closely as the gel coat allows.
